Joking aside. Apart from the campervan crowd, does anyone actually still cook for themselves at Glasto? I used to see cooking stoves everywhere but they seem to have gone the way of campfires.

Cooking no, but this year i did take a little burner with me so i could make myself a black coffee in the morning without having to wander out and but one.

A sausage roll from the glorious place by Circus tent on Sunday night then picked up another midday on the Monday for home.

We found this spot in 2017 and were glad to see it return, if a little down the road (used to be close to the Free Press).

They are awesome!

Katsu Curry place at the back of the Other Stage was incredible.

This! I usually avoid food places around the main stages, particularly noodle type places as they are pretty much always shite. We were starving Friday night walking back to the tent so grabbed a chicken katsu with noodles. Nicest thing I had throughout the whole festival and wound up grabbing another Sunday night as our last meal

Did anyone else have trouble eating in the heat? I think that I may have eaten less then I ever have!

In the 5 days I only ate -

A chocolate Brownie,

1  x Anna Mae's Mac and Cheese Spicy Juan

A very shit sausage baguette at 3am in Paines campsite,

A Wham Bam Tikka wrap with everything,

A Wood Fired Pizza,

Ice Creams x 6.

Ice Lolly x 1

That's it.

I always eat less due to stuff, but the heat made it a lot worse.

I feel quite greedy now- I ate the equivalent of that in one day?

I genuinely cannot comprehend eating that little while I'm at Glastonbury. Heat and "other stuff" don't even make a dent in my appetite, and I' feel as bad about the food clashes and misses as I do about bands

I wont lie, it normally isn't so little - but this year I didn't feel hungry. I had the pizza on the way to Janelle Monae on the sunday. That was forced down as I knew it would do me good. It was nice too. (Near the Glade - place was back after 2017 off)

Re: sweet things I had...

There was a cafe opposite Other Stage next to Real Sausages Real Mash that did big muffins for £2.50 or smaller fruit cakes for £1. The fruit cakes were really good (for a quid) but unfortunately sold out by the Sunday.

Chocolate bars available at £1.50 a pop at the general stores dotted around site was a nice cheap dessert. Had to eat it quickly in the heat though!

Had an ice-cream from one of the ice cream vans that was soft serve in a chocolate m&ms cone & a flake (£3.50 I think). Went down an absolute treat in the heat.

I had doughnuts from a place called 'Donut Porn' on Williams Green. £5 I think for 5 medium sized fresh doughnuts in cinnamon sugar - the sort that you'd find at a funfair. Really hit the spot as a breakfast on one of the days although 5 I felt was a bit too much.
