Stay the fuck away from the raclette bros on west holts. Absolute dirt . Waste of money. Ended up chucking most of it away. How awful do you have to be to fuck melted cheese on anything.

Cheers for this, was just about to get something from there!

For those in east campervan fields I can’t recommend Rusty Pig (E18) highly enough. Lovely french toast but went well out of their way to makes the kids feel special.

That is literally right beside us and we haven't tried it. Breakfast tomorrow.

Is it just me but is Goan Fish Curry not what it was - seems to be all rice and a bit of curry with not a lot of fish in it. This follows being disappointed for the same reason at EOTR where I put down to being the end of their season.

Best food for me was Peckish Peacock in the Park

Paella place is excellent and the one in the Green Fields offered 2 vegan options.

Was also wondering where Linda’s loaf was - anyone find it?

We tried a fair whack (wife and I combined);

Paella by Williams Green - unreal as stated in here by numerous

Eat the Farm’s Breakfast bap near The Taproom - had it twice, best value I found £5 for a massive fresh sausage/bacon/egg/cheese brioche

Hog Roast across from Bread And Roses - always get it since been going to Glasto - top notch

Duck wrap by west holts - not the cheapest but good size and fresh veg.

Piggie Smalls by West Holts - had before but still solid, garlic butter fries too runny though

greek chicken kebab towards Beat Hotel from Pyramid - huge portion, loads of hummus too

Truly Scrumptious Crumpets - cheese and beans with paprika - YES

Gravy Train’s Poutine across from Leftfield - awesome combos, big portions, massive food coma

della(?)’s bakery towards acoustic from WG - nice flapjack and sausage roll

Wish I tried:

Wingmans chicken burger by Hare Krishna towards Silver Hayes - any good?

diamond dogs in silver hayes - anyone?

sourdough pizza and a chicken burrito - where’s the best ones??

Lulu’s cafe near the pyramid side entrance to The Wood - charging £6 for a breakfast roll is bad enough, but they still asked £6 for a bacon roll and the same for sausage.

Conversely, £5 for a breakfast toastie from the place at the bottom of kids field was excellent value for money.

Probably too late now but a pic of the fucking incredible paella in Williams green. Even better second time!

I second this - their paella is a Glastonbury staple for me. Freshly squeezed lemon for ultimate freshness.

Shout out also to the orange braised beef from the Burrito Boys!

Chilli paneer dosa with extra onion bhaji was outstanding from WG. Tibetan platter excellent as usual. Had two meals from Thai Angle, the pad Thai especially was ace.

Need to call out the Japanese place by the pyramid as the worst food I’ve ever eaten at a festival. Thinking it was the same van that had done a fantastic Katsu in 2017, I ordered the same. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Overcooked rice and dry old chicken was bad enough, but they served the curry sauce cold. An awful mess - nearly spoiled my Saturday.

Best food I had all weekend was dessert!  Topped donuts from the Donut Porn stall in WG we’re gorgeous.  And the waffle place behind Pyramid was well nice too.

Best savoury was the korma from Ghandi’s Flip Flop.  Consistently excellent.

Yes! The Donut Porn place did amazing donuts with clotted cream and jam. Like a dirty afternoon tea.

I hadn't remembered how few food stalls there were in Avalon/cabaret/circus. What has the fish and chip place got on whoever books them to warrant being the only food stall other than the cafe in cabaret? I know you can (and did) ×walk to other fields but it just seems a bit strange.

Was surprised as well by the price of beer in the Avalon inn. When the same beer was £1.50 less in the beer bus in T&C.

Ah well another festival over and too few food places visited. There's only so many times you can eat! My favourite was No Bones Jones (lentil and chick pea curry) and the stall by Croissant Neuf whosename I can't remember.  And didn't get to the permaculture cafe this year?

The pizza place in silver hayes opposite wow/sonic was really great. Dont usually bother with pizza at fests but this was proper wood fired and you could choose whatever you wanted on it. Got anchovies and £7.50 for a good size & quality pizza is ok with me!

had my first no bones jones and was not disappointed, lovely veggie fritters and 2 salads for £6, reasonable

Also had the deluxe diner sunday roast (beef) and it honestly did live up to the hype, it was utterly fantastic. Mind you it ought to be at £26 but youre paying for an experience.

shout out to happy maki also in silver hayes. I was sceptical about vegan sushi (what, no fish?) but need not have been as it was fresh and tasty. It was their take on “duck” and hoi sin, lovely. Maybe slightly expensive at £8 but its quality.

hiked up to cheese truck in big ground and they never disappoint. Goats cheese honey walnut is an all time favourite festival food for me.

on the poorer end not very much squid for £7 at kraken, altho what was there was nicely done. Didnt actually have anything that could be considered not very good!

Had a good pie and mash in the Park and the chicken and wood-fired pizza in William’s Green never disappoint.

Found a meal deal in the bakery (bacon roll, doughnut and hot drink for a fiver) that set me up nicely on Sunday morning after the car park run.

The Split-Screen Ice Cream was delicious as always. Just a shame they sold out of rhubarb and custard flavour so early.

And yet it was £6 for a large glass of wine, which is cheaper than any of the other bars!

I was devastated (no, not exaggerating) to find some imposter jerk stall across from the Bread and Roses where Uptown Catering used to be. I wandered every path with food stalls, I think, forlornly hoping to find them cheerfully turning out their saucy jerk and cans of ginger beer but nothing. Were they absolutely, definitely not there?
