They were at the top of the hill on the walk to Worthy View in 2017. Only available to WV campers.

They were bloody delicious.

This reminds me - I did hear back from them and they will not be there. They were offered a place but they weren’t happy with it and declined. Try out the cheese truck which is also good. They were in Shangri-La and at the top of the pyramid by the cashpoint in the past. Think they have the same spots this time.

Mentioned this in the cheese thread but it’s worth repeating the warning. I like a ham toastie followed by a cheese toastie. Made  the mistake of feeding it to my pet rabbit. He died a horrible death.

i forgot how dangerous it was to them if you mix up ma toasties.

Thank you to The Two Ronnies?

I ate at Luardos the other week - you get a 12 inch burrito for 5 or 6 quid. They’re in Time Out’s list of the top 50 street food in London. It was v nice by the way!

Club Mexicana is #1 on that list, though I didn’t personally think it was all that when I ate there (it’s veggie FYI).

Barnaby Sykes also recommended - ate there a lot at Bestival.

i don’t mess about at a festival - if I actually bother to eat, it’s a burrito or pie and mash (maybe chips for the quick carb factor).

Anyone got any recommendations for Caribbean food? (apologies if it's already been mentioned, haven't been through the whole thread)

I remember one across from William's Green that was always rammed, gonna check that one out this time I think

There is  one somewhere in the South East Corner but I am utterly useless with directions. Had some great authentic curry patties from there. Pretty sure they did the jerk and stuff as well.

Sounds great, I shall investigate. Thanks!

Uptown Catering near the Bread and Roses is fantastic.

Just read this entire thread and I have some observations...

Despite nearing 50 years on this planet I genuinely do not know what Bubble and Squeak is. I have a feeling it’s something to do with potatoes but I honestly don’t know.

I have no idea what Poutine is either.

Nobody has mentioned Tor Rugby Club Wraps.

That big Yorkshire Pudding thing looks fucking awesome.

Bubble and squeak is a great way to use up left over mashed potatoes and traditionally fried with cabbage to add the squeak. Gorgeous with a fried or poached egg on top.

Poutine is the Canadian name for chips, cheese and gravy. ?
