Seemed from reports like there were a lot more people than normal at Latitude who were just there to get lit with friends after restrictions. Reading and Leeds making front page news with their plans to go ahead on the week the roadmap was detailed forced a total sellout, which was probably not lineup-dependent. This is something I posited to my friends after the rapid sell out. I’m really curious to see what the crowd will be like this year. I’m leaning towards it being a slightly older audience than usual due to those people having the hundreds of pounds ready to go at an instant compared to kids that are 16-18, for example. Just the uncertainty of the unique scenario we are (were) in isn't it. If the travel corridor news does mean that the American/European acts can come over then it should put this to bed, at least I hope so for the sake of this thread! I'd be shocked though if all the North American acts do come over, I imagine some will have made the decision not to come a while ago Might also be because we've been starved of new names this year, we've only had 2/3 lineup announcements in 11 months. The Leeds Clashfinder has the early afternoon Pit acts down for 45 minute sets on both days.
