2021 Lineup

There will be five bands on each main stage, and they will play on a rotational basis. So band on Main Stage West opens, then band on Main Stage East, then the next band on Main Stage West, all the way up to the Main East headliners (Stormzy, Post and Liam)

There will be no NME, Pit, Dance, Festival Republic or BBC Introducing Stages, but there will be a third stage for smaller acts, and it'll be open air. Think something similar to the Park at Glastonbury.

I believe this is only a temporary measure in regards to the pandemic and 2022 will see the festival resume normal service, as it were.

Expect a second announcement around September. With a few interesting names.

If this is true then the ticket prices should reflect this. And I hope they go back to how it was in 2022. But if it means the festival goes ahead I'll take it.

So I'm assuming theres only around 60 acts across the weekend, 5 per main stage per day and 10 per day squeezed on this 3rd stage.

As for the two subs, a previous headliner from what time frame and probably Sam Fender who ever said that

That'd be a real shame if true. I've seen some fantastic sets in The Pit and Festival Republic in recent years.

I hope it isn't true.

I'd make that a reduction from around 80 acts a day to probably 20-25ish. That'd be embarrassing.

But it'd be safe, we may be lucky to have any festival at all and jepoardising chances by having 6 tents/indoor stages would'nt help, three outdoor stages will do the job for a year, hopefully minimise clashes as well

Also, Sam Fenders debut only came out last year so surely cant be him

Sam Fender isn't one of the subs.

As for the previous headliner, last time they headlined was within the past decade.

Does debut album 3 years ago mean they've only released one coz Dua Lipa could be it

Still think the Libertines

Clashes are good. It's going to be a pretty dire experience if the arena empties when there are only two 'unpopular' options on offer.

I don't buy it really. A Dance Stage is surely happening. That's a massive genre usually represented almost exclusively on one stage (Disclosure notwithstanding). Otherwise we're staring straight down the barrel of MK closing out this 3rd Stage opposite a headliner. He's not going to play middle of the day, in total daylight at an open air stage.

Maybe they have too, unless they have some other plans for the dance music, ik they'd never reach the same heights but something like Arcadia at Glasto?

Zero chance of either. Blink are bigger than half of the headliners and Pulp are inactive.

So either Libertines under Catfish or LG, or Foals under QOTSA i assume

I mean its one of them coz they're the only two

Who's the other one tho

Literally one of them as everyone else is massive that has headlined while they have declined. Would love a Libs sub slot butI see Foals due to subbing TRNSMT.
