Who's a good conversation starter quite a few festivals for 2021 are booking acts from their 2019 editions. Who do we think (and would like) to see from the 2019 edition of R&L be booked for 2021?

All time low, seagirls, rage against the machine, Fever 333, creeper, aitch, Tom grennan

I know there are 'many more to be announced' but it's interesting that they've put out a 45% female lineup just for listings of the iPlayer coverage that they'll be doing - to the point where they've included BBC Introducing acts. Speaks very good things for actual announcements going forward.

If there’s one thing we can all agree on here it’s that we need way more female bands/artists higher up the Reading bill, there’s enough out there to fill up a lineup I think and arguably some are better than half the shite on this years lineup anyways

The Biffy album is outstanding. I think it’s their best since Only Revolutions for sure.

Getting a lot of attention this album and I've seen a lot of people sharing this opinion. Couple of tracks let it down for me, couple of the singles I'm not quite with atm, but there are some BIG tunes on it

Just finished listening to the new Biffy album, unreal. Wasn't an album I was particularly excited for, but wow, really good stuff. Wasn't sold on 'Instant History' the first time I heard it, but have to say it's my favourite off the new album. 'Tiny Indoor Firework', 'Cop Syrup', 'Space' and 'North Of No South' are standouts as well, glad I didn't listen to any of the singles apart from 'Instant History' in the buildup to the album so I could hear them as part of the album experience for the first time.

Not buying into this nonsense that they've past their prime, they would absolutely smash another headline set at R+L, some of those songs would go off. Make it happen in 2022 Festival Republic.
