Im hoping he will appear on the pyramid as I have an idea .... with a full crowd how difficult would it be to clear that arena of litter if he was to ask us to pick some up ... 30 seconds of litter picking would  make that place immaculate and reinforce the message of people not dropping it for the rest of the festival and build a kind of ethos around it :)

THIS!

Ah ... had this email ... didn't read it properly ... thanks for posting it in here ... was hoping he would get a pyramid slot though

He definitely won't get a sacred space slot on a Thursday afternoon. Far too crowded. This'll just be similar to largest cnd symbol attempt of 2017, with a march...

He might if they don’t announce it. The Dalia Lama made an appearance there and the crowd was manageable because it wasn’t widely known. He did make a second Pyramid appearance, mind you. You’d think Attenborough would do the same.

It wasn't a Thursday, and it was earlier in the day, 11am?  Trying to get everyone into a neat shape is never going to happen if there's an impromptu stage set up and everyone wants to be near the front. Not saying sacred space wouldn't work for David, just saying it's not going to be Thursday afternoon combined with this other thing (which he may or may not want to publicly condone).

Ah bollocks ... would have been great to get him to get us to clear the pyramid field

That would indeed have been some sight, and quite a powerful statement on how we as a collective can change what needs changing in the world, on the environmental front. Alas, it shouldn't need David Attenborough's intervention in any case.

Indeed .. although my impression is the site seems cleaner ... let’s hope the litter pickers agree
