Pauladuncan70
One of our group, the lady who actually booked our glastonbury tickets is sadly having a complete mental breakdown. It is all very sad and distressing and she has been sectioned twice. She has taken against one member in our group and keeps threatening to cancel all our glastonbury tickets. I have contacted see tickets and there is nothing they can do, legally she is allowed to cancel the tickets and I presume get a refund on all our deposits, which of course we have paid her for already. I can't believe it. Having been so happy to get tickets it looks like we will loose them all. I have contacted see tickets via email and telephone and been told - there is nothing they can do. Bloody stressful There seems to be nothing we can do at all. I have begged them to switch the lead booker around or take our 5 tickets off this booking, or even just protect them from being cancelled. No, if she is insistent about cancelling the tickets, she will be allowed to ! Any ideas ? Edited February 6, 2019 by Pauladuncan70
DickButkis
Don’t piss her off until the balances have been paid
balti-pie
As soon as the balance repayment opens, get on em and pay. They’ll be completely yours then. That’s the only thing under your control, that you can definitely change. As for your unwell mate, if she’s detained in hospital then she’s receiving treatment and will hopefully be improving in mental state. It could easily be that this time next month, she’ll be fully insightful to how she was when she was unwell, and will be mortified to think about how she threatened to knacker everyone’s tickets up! Give her time, she’ll get better ??
stuie
I didn't realise anyone could cancel at the moment. I thought the only way it was possible to cancel was waiting until the balance payment window had passed without paying. It sounds like a horrible situation though. I hope your friend gets well soon.
