Decision on the day it is.

As is pretty much always the case.  So much depends entirely on mood. Could be Lizzo. Could be Marr. Could be Tiny Tea Tent.

  • Some members here said nobody remembers Janet in the UK, but it seems she's been selling more vinyls than Madonna, Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue combined for over a month.

Her discography is so iconic and constantly gains in respect.

The release dates of those albums show they are mostly pre-orders that have just become available. To get in the Amazon vinyl charts you have to sell very little, this is probably the same limited number of fans all pre-ordering her albums.

Next week they'll probably all but disappear until their actual release date. If you look in the combined CD and vinyl chart, her 1st appearance is at number 63.

All of this means nothing but I can't help myself.

I know that, but both Kylie and Madonna have new releases that are selling less than Janet's old albums. #63 for an album released over 20 years ago is amazing. All that without any promo or even official statement. My point is that somebody forgotten in the UK would hardly manage to ever chart on this chart, and Janet has four old albums charting higher than new releases by Kylie and Madonna.

    • We head out in the morning. Couple of nights in New York then up to Boston. Enjoy the games lads and hopefully we get some great football to take our minds off the whole shitshow off the pitch.

    • Yeah exactly, the shock moments, group layouts, etc all end up playing out differently once you get into the tournament. However you tweak it, you don't predict shocks.
