have got the efests comp set-up, and have just mailed it to GF for their approval before it goes live.

With a bit of luck it might get approved today, although it might not be until Monday.

Can we enter and give the ticket to other people (on the forum) if we win? or is that not in the spirit of things. Just wondering if we can increase someone else's odds?

it's one entry per-person.

So while you could enter someone else's details, if that person also enters they won't win.

Ah ok fair enough. I thought it was a bit cheeky but seems there are a few good people who don't yet have tickets so was hoping we could try and help.

I may be missing something, but hypothetically speaking, could a person enter their own details on the entry, but give two other people's details against the winning tickets?

yes - you could enter someone else's details, but if that person also enters they won't win.

The names of the people who will use the tickets have to be given when entering the competition.

Just for clarity, could for example, I enter and my wife enter and we would be giving each others names as 2nd person. Would that be void as we have put our names in twice? Or is that OK as two separate people are technically entering? ?

that would be OK.

It's one entry per-person and there is just one winner. That one winner wins two tickets.

And we're into the second week of the Guardian comp, wonder how many outside efests are persisting......?

I was thinking that earlier, it’s a bit of a faff so I’m hoping that the general public wouldn’t bother much. I’ve done it every day so far.

Any hope I have of getting to Glasto now rests with this competition and that shops up and down the country are making it difficult for anyone but the most persistent to enter.

I gave it a go yesterday (For friends), at the local Co-Op, bit of a kerfuffle, she couldn't get the scan to work, tried everything, I kept saying don't bother as the queue behind me grew and grew....eventually got it sorted. No one else had been there for the competition, if that means anything.
