20 litres is a big old bag! Just seen they have the same available for Old Rosie elsewhere...but how do you carry it around? Do you decant it into a big bottle or something for the daytime?

I carry a 3 litre flagon on my hip - and leave the boxes in rucksacks in the lock-ups - that's what they're there for isn't it?

In the past, I've frozen it in 2l bottles.  I like my cider, but 20l in 6 weeks is a bit of a struggle for me.  It doesn't sound too bad, but you end up turning into farmer Bean after a while, but not as clever

you need one of these "plastic pillows" that you can hang on a string or tie to your belt

Haha, great reference! Freezing it might be a good shout. Although normally, I take three or so boxes of wyld wood and its all gone by Friday and I resort to Thatchers or other drinks. I'm thinking of taking more this time as I don't like the sound of this Mallet's (is it's like strongbow!) and a couple of my friends are driving down, but 20Ls is indeed an awful lot!! And of Old Rosie in particular....

Yeh, for sure...what's more valuable than your booze stash?

You're our resident cider expert, clearly. They should consult you next time they fancy changing their cider providers!

I think there's a review on here somewhere of the year i reviewed the scrumpy that's occasionally available on the bars on site.

won't be there - though I guess the acoustic stage real ale and cider bar will have some alternatives - and St Austell may be doing (but the fudge is unlikely)

I don't think you get it anywhere bar the Railway Inn @ Sandford - certainly not seen it anywhere else.   The cloudy lemon is pretty horrible if I'm honest - like Haze but sweetness turned up another notch.
