This Big Thief album is incredible, reckon they will occupy two of my top five albums this year.

The new Elbow album bored me to tears this morning. I'll give it another go but not hopeful as their output hasn't been average since The Seldom Seen Kid, bar for one or two songs.

Not sure if any one already posted this but FEET's debut album came out last week, pretty damn good and a lot more low key than I though it would be given their post punk lead single. Massive Blur vibes on the later and a lot of the album tbh.

Bodega EP was great, Richard Dawson was amazing but fuck me that Kim Gordon one is incredible. Can't turn it off.

Enjoying the new Kim Gordon record quite a bit. Sorta feels like what would happen if Thom Yorke made a record with Patti Smith.

Really? Thought it was really good. Also Take Off And Landing > Seldom.

Lot of great records lately. Nick Cave obviously (AOTY contender), but also Danny Brown, Big Thief, Angel Olson, Kim Gordon and the aforementioned Elbow.

New Alice Cooper EP is pretty good. A tribute to Detroit, 2 new tunes and 4 covers. Features Wayne Kramer amongst others.

I’m with you there. They are foregoing the ‘open arms’ and ‘beautiful day’ singathongs for something more subtle. Going back to the beginning. I like.
