Opening of new Chems is great. Singles they've put out make sense, best tracks by far.

Gravity drops probably the low point for me.

I’ll be really disappointed if The Chemical Brothers don’t play those opening three tracks in a row in the live shows.

 

In fact they should end the main set with them and then come back on with Block Rockin Beats to end the show.

Anybody else thinking that the show could start with No Geography? Long drawn out intro, then BAM! with the keys and melody. In my mind how I'm imagining it, would be pretty epic.

That's the fun part now. For as good as the album is, it could be elevated via the live versions. 

They have been playing all the singles in the live set and I think Eve of Destruction has had a run out too.

The Fontaines DC album is brilliant as expected, certainly living up to the hype

Aye, agree with the sentiments of the Fontaines album, was gonna wait for my LP to arrive but I've already heard over half of it so cracked on this morning. All the re-recordings work and make it a bit more Cohesive. Particularly the Hurricane Laughter re-recording, heavy echos of The Fall in there. 

I'm really really excited about seeing them tomorrow but I'm drinking from noon for a friends birthday doing the real ale trail so probably won't remember it. Got Elvana tonight as well so can't even rest then. Ah well, I'm sure I'll enjoy it whilst there.

I think the Chems have smashed it with this album. Genuinely excited to see them again after leaving the set early in 2016.

First listen of the Fontaines album was slightly disappointing, I think my expectations were too high. Will adjust and hope it’s a grower.

Boys From The Better Land is a belter though.

And ye No Geography is great, think it'll be a contendor for my end of year list for sure

.Paak's new one is shmoove as out, really nice. Can see it getting a work out this summer. Took hours to get through it though coz I kept having to rewind Andre's verse on the first song, I respect his reasons for not making a solo album but he's so good. We just need 10 artists to pretend he's recording a feature for them but secretly its all for his album.
