briddj
Dave will almost certainly be number 1 this week in the album chart. Probably Dido at 2 and Foals holding on to debut at 3.

Once streams are added on it's almost certain he will be no. 1. Foals are heavily front loaded with pre-orders, like most indie bands, unfortunately. Had the lowest sales of the top 5 on Monday. Only 1k in front and unlikely to hold on.

Robinn
Not sure if they've been mentioned already, but definitely give the new Motorpsycho a spin if you're into guitars. A great blend of doom, prog and 70's hardrock. One of the best albums of the year so far!
Badlands
Persistent plays of the Self-Esteem album has launched it firmly to the top of my list for the year so far. Listening to her on 6 the other week, she was saying how she’s heavily influenced by Kanye’s MBDTF. It reminds me more of the female lead tracks from Hamilton more than anything (the song Monster especially). Not necessarily a bad thing. A big thumbs up from me. She’s in town tonight and I’m sorely tempted to make a solo visit and see her.

nikkic
It’s 2019 and there’s still 15k people out there buying Dido albums.
priest17
Confirmation we definitely are getting a new Raconteurs album, happy with that. New singles were great and the snippet in this sounds good as well, even over a car radio.
Superunknown
Sigrids new album is incredibly catchy. Held off on this for a while cos I had Foals on repeat but absolutely loving it, the 40 mins of bops absolutely flies by.

My historical rule of thumb is that if you can stick it on one side of a blank 90 minute tape then its alright. It clocks in at 49, so it's not too bad. Three of the tracks are little daft fillers as well.
