Have you seen past Sonar lineup? Basically it's electronic music but there were always every kind of pop/hip hop/indie based on electronic.

I assume only Skepta is headliner. 

Anyway Sonar is great in every part of its lineup, it doesn't matter to me whoever headline this festival.

skepta headliner for Sonar....well I guess it could have been worse they couod have put  Migos or Tyler too

Title of the announcement says asap and skepta then the other acts separated by commas so could be a b2b with a bit of cross over? might be reading into it a bit much.

In the years they had artists like M.I.A., Grace Jones, Animal Collective, Goldfrapp, Massive Attack etc that are all great I know but you have to admit that they are not purely electronic. 

I'm not surprise seeing Skepta but I'm sure you'll find something extraordinary in the other 3 stages

nope on poster they are both seperated by commas, looks like they will have seperate acts if they dont do some big fucking magic in next announcment Im selling my vip pass...

I actually love all those Artists you mention in your post but I really have low tolerance for hip hop and calling it art but yeah Im in minority

Don't be pessimistic, maybe asapsomething will close Sonar by Day

I've been in 2014 and Plastikman was put as headliner but he played at "by day".

True, last year there were LCD, Bonobo and Thom Yorke just to mention a few while this year they decided to go towards rap sounds for big names with ASAP Rocky, Skepta and Vince Staples. But the overall lineup is brilliant. I'm also going to Sunday OFFSonar party Outlier by Bonobo and still thinking of that to do on Thursday. It's gonna be a heavy weekend.
