Was gonna take a big effort to get as good a line up as last year and they're a bit off for me. Decent start though. Not sure it's enough for me to return though, especially when Kraftwerk and New Order are down the albeit more expensive road. Metronomy, Vaccines and Friendly Fires are great bookings btw

I'm pretty happy with that so far. Good variety of bands and a few more top additions to be made.

Fat White Family, Malcolm Middleton, Sleaford Mods Vaccines Frank Turner Futureheads all good for me.

Vistas look good too and will check out some of the other smaller bands in the coming weeks.

It was never going to have the same level of headliners as last year given the capacity back down from 8000 to 5000.

First timers my advice is come along it's a cracking wee festival

Didn’t expect much this year tbh and it’s just about what I thought it would be , it’s always been poor during the day comes alive at 7ish I would of come on a day ticket for Saturday but with Frank Turner headline that day it means it won’t come alive until I would of been getting in the car Sunday morning and listening to radio 2 ! It’s a shame cos it had or maybe still has potential but when you look at the line up poster and after line 2 you have no idea who they are ( sorry for my ignorance) im out !

Personally I have seen some fantastic new bands at previous festivals in the early slots.

Last year The Dunts and Shambolics  were on really early and were excellent.

I think it's a fantastic opportunity to see new or upcoming bands , often Scottish, in a beautiful setting.

See you there!!
