How often do the previous years secret setters headline/Pyramid the following year?

I dont think its been common in recent years for a secret set to be made from an act who could come close to headlining, except Killers, and even thats arguable.

Of the acts big enough to headline the Pyramid that have played secret sets, I think you're only really looking at Pulp and Radiohead. It took Radiohead 6 years to go back to the big stage, and we're still waiting on the Pulp dream.

Top of my head, secret acts in recent years have been...

Biffy

Dead Weather

Radiohead

Pulp

Elbow

Killers.

Radiohead have headlined since they played a secret set but it wasn't the following year. None of the others have headlined since playing a secret set.

There have been other smaller secret sets but none that would trouble the Pyramid.

Secret set at Club Dada in 09 and Pyramid headliner 2019.
