me too... I split with my boyfriend since getting my tickets and all my friends were unable to get tickets - so I will be going solo - which is a bit daunting and not ideal...

Same here. Looking forward to being able to do my own thing but would be good to have the option of company. Think it's more daunting because of the size of the place, strangely.

Make friends with your neighbours; we usually do. It's nice around breakfast time to invite someone nearby to have tea/coffee or share your eggs/bacon sandwiches. Think I may be alone this time as my son and his mates are out of the country at uni and my other friend who always comes with me hasn't got a ticket yet. I'm not bothered though as I'm fine with my own company and someone usually chats anyway.

I'm good with my own company too, but this experience is surely best shared! 😍

Try GlastoTwisto on Twitter. Not got much information to go off but boyfriend exercising that level of control is unhealthy.  Worryingly unhealthily IMO.

I will be flying solo again as such this year as part of the recycling crew.

Whilst I will be there on my own I will have the people I have made friends with through the recycling crew over the years to catch up with and some other mates that are there on normal tickets who I will catch up with at various points over the festival.

I find it is a good mix of having time on my own but also being able to have some time with friends without being tied to their timetable.

I camp with the camp solo massive and enjoy the same benefits.  It's nice to go to a few gigs with people you've got to know, or socialise and bimble in groups on the Wed/Thurs, but I'm quite selfish with my time over the main weekend and find it to be the best of both worlds.  I'm a hopeless introvert, so the alone time is sort of necessary, but it is so nice to be able to get up and just have friendly faces all around you, or get back to camp and know that whatever time of day or night it is there will be folk around to catch up with whose company you enjoy.
