Totally agree with the Avalon appreciation. I enjoy listening to some of the acts on their lineup announcement and then going to see them and having a great time. I give you a certain Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs. Fantastic to watch them with a cider in hand in the sunshine.

A 'good source' tells me The Blue Aeroplanes are playing Avalon. Check out their website too, they're 'getting the band back together'. Not my cup of tea but will probably please a few here?

Main reason for the desperation to see the smaller stage posters is that as soon as they are released it’s a google search of bands I haven’t heard of to see if they are decent. Discovered quite a few over the years like that. One of the great things about Glastonbury.

Not always. If you skirt round the outside and approach stonebridge from the right hand side there's pretty much always decent space down that side of the bar. Never had an issue getting there, getting served and having room to dance, and I don't get ANYWHERE early
