Has to be a regional thing surley. Not sure where 'lawks' originates from, but down in these parts it would definitely be 'ere' I reckon.

The only other time I've seen "lawks" used is on the front of Viz

I’d never heard of the word til I saw this thread, just looked it up and it’s supposed to be cockney and it’s meaning is like blimey, yikes or bloody Nora.

I used to frequent a forum where Lawks was used quite a bit but in an entirely ironic sense.

I've never heard anyone actually say it, it was a nod to my old internet home.

I think it was an early 20th (or even late 19th) century Cockney phrase - like Luvaduck.  I think the two were often used together.  And I think (though I may be wrong) that I used to see them used in 30s whodunnits, like Lord Peter Whimsy books. But they were mainly written by upper middle class authors who may not have known what real Cockneys said of course!

They may also release some afterwards like Cineramageddon (?)

Expect something tomorrow, thursday and Friday then the big reveal next Tuesday hopefully. However I wouldn't be surprised with a curveball. Would be nice for the app to suddenly become available and make them release early....

Aye, a small part of me is holding out hope they just drop the whole thing on Friday. There's still that comment from the Block 9 article about the "Glastonbury lineup releasing..." *clings on to hope of a pre-Bank Holiday announcement*

Imagine spending the weekend sat outside, drinking wine, having a BBQ and perusing the whole lineup?!
