Dare say being ticketless is making me a little grumpy but I have to say it's not a vintage year so far for me. Only to be expected though given what's available.

On first glance it's not as suited to my tastes as the last few years have been but there's some really interesting surprises in there, as well as some not so interesting ones (looking at you, Snow Patrol). Still comfortably the best lineup around this summer.

Can't believe how excited I am that Miley is on that.....still a little gutted no Lady G but hey, the music is only part of the experience....love that I now have a playlist for the spring to get my ears round some material I've not heard in a while or before in the lead up to the festival.

Relax - check out the artists you're not familiar with and wait for hundreds more in due course.

Every year is vintage if you're doing it properly.
