a6l6e6x
Anyone done/doing a spotify playlist for this? Don't like to call it a bad announcement until I've actually listened to all the bands on the poster. Currently going through Pup and really digging them

Spiral_Low
Another confusing poster like last year. Surely Disturbed wouldnt clash with SOAD or Korn?

If the layout carrys like that it would mean offspring -> deftones -> kiss I'd love that
strangerkings
Currently looking at a Sunday day ticket unless Friday and Saturday improve. Not digging the overall lineup so far.

Theres absolutely no crossover in fanbase whatsoever. AlterBridge would have been better subbing KISS and Deftones under Maiden, I can only pressume DLUK have had no say in it and had to just make do with them playing where they can. Cus if that was done by design, my god.
scrubbertheman
That announcement has made my mind up. Dull, dull dull
Andre91
This is the dullest lineup I can recall. There is nothing really exciting at all. So many stock, repeat booking. Babymetal and Volbeat, for example, seemingly playing the exact same slots as they did two years ago is naff.
gabrielomachado
what if mötley crüe sub maiden ?

Should be used to it now, didn't he book the same top 3 with Areosmith etc the first time and then just repeat it. Sunday looks good for me, presumably Disturbed are going to play when Korn play and finish before SOAD as clashing SOAD and Disturbed would be silly. If that's how it works out I'd have to suck it up and go as that's 3 bands I'd want to see with two being who I've not seen for ages/never and wouldn't now pay for their own tours. It's clear that The Offspring are doing 2nd headline, Gojira are doing 3rd main. Edited November 18, 2019 by thewayiam
strangerkings
2020 seems to be catering towards the "we go for the experience, not the bands" audience, which means a lot of people will miss a year or go to Reading and Leeds instead. On the bright side, 2021 will most likely have a better lineup... ...Unless there's a new agreement between Download and R/L, where Download is the conservative festival that can only book safe bands, whereas R/L is the festival that's allowed to take risks. Archi
What a poor announcement. The duo Kiss/Deftones is strange but SlipKnot/Die Antwoord this year was strange too. I guess the last 3 names could be Alter Bridge, Five Finger Death Punch and Steel Panther?
gabrielomachado
2021 is looking promising with RATM, My Chemical Romance and Mötley Crüe reunions and other names like Avenged Sevenfold, Architects, Parkway Drive and Ghost with new material
