Wy two dates for balance payments and refunds?????

Nobody seems to know the answer to my enquiry. Why is there another date for refunds after the April resale? Surely the cut off date for balance payments in April should be the last day for refunds. Why have another date in the first week of May for refunds, thus freeing up more tickets and leaving a loophole for people to chance buying a camper-van ticket using other peoples details and then giving it up if they are unsuccessful in the resales. Come on people someone must know the answer, I cant sleep thinking about it..........

It's to give people more chance to cancel if anything happens, as tickets are not transferable nor can be sold on and is a fairer way to conduct it all.

Thanks Paul but its only an extra week after the resales? so whats the point of that?

People can put a deposit down in October, pay their balance off at the start of April and then something could happen and they can't make it.
So the festival allows cancellations (to get refund on full amount from resales too minus admin fee) as late as possible before they need to start printing and issuing tickets.

These are the items that had in previous years appeared as 'secret resales' but there were so few in 2017 the festival didn't bother, I think they just gave them away.
