manchestermusicreview
Who’s gonna be playing in 2024? Purely for projection and fun, but here’s what I think: Main: Wolf Alice//Sundara Karma//Tom Grennan//Little Simz// Dead Naked Hippies// Bilk R1: Darkzy (live)//Lewis Capaldi// No Rome Main: Skepta/ Disclosure (co-head) Idles// Shame // Avelino// slowthai // The Pale White R1: Greta Van Fleet// Neck Deep // The Blinders Main: Royal Blood // Tame Impala // Anderson Paak.// Young Thug// Dream Wife// Parcels// The Pale White R1: Christine And The Queens// Tom Walker// Sam Fender
Gucci Piggy
A random mixture of acts who are the same size as they are now, newer acts who'll be higher up the lineup by then, and some acts who we've never heard of right now. Could be literally anyone. Probably Muse.

WhoOdyssey
I can't see Idles ever being that big tbh, as much as I like them, they're very niche.

Sam Y
I'd be proud if I've got one act correct BLOSSOMS / Rat boy CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN / Sundara Karma YUNGBLUD / The Vaccines
rivalschools.price
In 2024 people will be - -moaning about the line-up - saying that the line up is only catering for kids and there are too many 16 year olds at the festival - saying that they reckon there will not be a Lock up stage this year - saying at least one of the headliners aren’t big enough to headline. - putting up a fake poster and think it’s hilarious that someone thought it was genuine Edited January 20, 2019 by rivalschools.price 4

Chaarlie
If someone posted this video in 2014 and said this guy would be headlining in 5 years time would you have believed them?
Andre91
I see Dua Lipa as a one off for the festival. I don’t see her returning again and again.

Lmao. Twenty One Pilots mid-afternoon FR in 2013 as well with no perceivable prospects of headlining. And I guess some will have argued The 1975 a future headliner but if you told them they’d be the most exciting headliner with two critically acclaimed albums under their belt, I certainly wouldn’t have believed it. For context: By this logic, 2 midday bands from the FR stage this year (one will get hit number 1's and the other critically acclaimed albums), a legendary rock act and some dude that's homeless at the moment making YouTube videos. Pretty Vicious, Sam Fender, Queens of The Stone Age and my mate Phil is my prediction.
