Arriving at Campervan East Midday Wednesday

Just looking for advice on pros and cons arriving midday Wednesday as opposed to Tuesday evening from experienced campervan goers, will it be mostly full by then and just mean more of a walk?

In 2015 we arrived wed afternoon and ended up near the back of E17. Just added an extra 10 minutes walk to Ped-A.

TBH so long as it's not like 2016 when they wouldn't let us on site due to the mud and stuck us at B&W. You'll probably only be a field further away from the gate by turning up lunchtime.

which tickets did you get.? 'Quiet' or 'General'?

If in general they pretty much fill up E18,17,16,15,14...

Quiet likely E20,23,19,24,25...

however sometimes they look to fill the spaces and send you to the earlier filled fields.. particularly if you are travelling in a single small van.. Late could be good... so fingers crossed.

Last year we got on site around 2pm  on Tues and ended up at  E17, tbh no big deal yeah it's a bit of a waik to gate C but  still had the Time my life and on plus side the further back you are the quicker you can  get out.

Got general, have always rocked up whilst normal camping as early as possible but friends kids need to be dropped at school Wednesday morning, so as you say could work out better especially when it comes to leaving. Thanks
