It was actually a danger to my job as I found out I’d won just before a meeting with an important customer. To say my mind was elsewhere would be an understatement!

Makes up for the crushing pain of you boys winning the league haha!

Yeah I do worry that may be the case. Coupled with the fact we fluked a win in the game at Anfield all roads points to yet more heartbreak

Crushing pain? Really? Not arsed. Doesn't really count when City won as far as I'm concerned. No win for us, which is a bit of a meh, but it's all part of a journey that currently seems to be a lot of fun.

Not so much who won it that made a difference to me. Just to have come so close and not won it. I was 2 last time it happened so will be something incredibly special when it does happen!

Don't worry about it fella, as long as the journey is this fun, it'll be grand. If we'd have had it in our hands on the last day and lost it I'd have been fussed, but we couldn't have done any more...

It clearly is a hell of a lot of money, even taking Coachella into comparison where their VIP tickets are about £800 each. But there is plenty of rich people and minor celebs in this country who will pay it.

I considered the VIP thing last time, and thought I'd probably go up to 500. But 1800? or more? Even if I had the cash, I think it would throw into relief everything that was negative about the experience. I just think I'd enjoy it a lot less knowing the cost involved.
