But there is also an online entry if you're a Guardian member, which I think is part of the same competition?

Think they are separate comps with separate T&Cs and separate closing dates

Ok, so I've returned from the shop. Blokey didn;t have any idea of what was going on and to be honest neither did I much. Paypoint took about 3 mins to cough out the receipt. He kept the only receipt which said about the 0.15p being credited to the shop and my comp entry being successful. All good though and will do it again tomorrow.

To add....this was obviously the first time anyone had been in to this particular shop to do this and it's quite a busy place.

Printing was a good tip. Did that today, different person on till again and had to talk them through it but it scanned OK, the paypoint receipt they keep confirmed entry in the comp and my receipt showed the 15p off. Manager popped his head round to say hello as well! ALos bought some new McCoys Muchos, quite yummy.

I just went round all the shops that it said could do the Guardian comp and they all said they couldn't do it! They all had Paypoint machines so I'm really not sure why not ?

Not sure why that is. I just picked up a Guardian handed them my phone and said "can you scan that with your paypoint please, it's a Guardian competition".

If having trouble I'd try the named stores: Co-op and McColls if you can. The first couple of times I had to make them read all the instructions as the barcode wouldn't scan, but the printed one I said you need to scan with paypoint (it's all part of the main till in co-op not a separate machine)and it took the money off.
