Who would have thought we'd be in this position the week before last? Quite a remarkable turn around. In all the years I've been going I've never seen the weather run up to be so mental! And then eventually turn out well!!

Mad isn't it. I was fully expecting a bit of a rainy one based on this forum up until a few days ago. Not anymore :)

I've just bought myself a UV parasol on Amazon prime, why dont you try that? They get pretty good reviews.

I have bought one, but for watching acts, its a bit too big.

Im 6ft 3 or 4 too, so I cant even get shade in the crowd. My head sticks out above the rest!

Our tent was already up when we arrived at about 3pm in 2017. I nearly died when we went in to dump our bags. Mental, mental heat for this country.

I popped one in my tent. Head was absolutely spinning. Thouroughly horrid experience.

I've just bought one too, I tend to stay towards the back of the crowd and i'll probably be sat down using it so hopefully I won't be a nuisance

I finally treated myself to a down filled sleeping bag a few months ago.

They are expensive but really compact AND... Really warm.

if this forecast remains the same, i will be lolling around in my apple catchers on the floor outside the tent impersonating Arnie when his visor cracks on Mars in Total Recall.

I am worried about you fuzzy! The glade is a nice emergency cooling spot on the Thursday- shaded and usually has a breeze. Strummerville is also a good cooling spot, but you have to first make it up the hill. The Woods might also be pleasant.
