Just had a meal and a lot of lager outside a pub in Glastonbury town, cloudy but nice and warm. Will defo need more beer tonight. Lots of trader Van's heading along road to the site today . Hope all the forecasts of decent weather are spot on. Loving the vibe here. A late night kebab beckons I reckon.

Just checked into this thread for the first time since Friday afternoon... I cannot read 30 pages ?

I actually saw some water catch alight in 2010.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but the EURO4 model is in range up to Tuesday midday now. It's probably the most reliable short term model to use. Higher resolution than GFS. It shows heavy rain passing London overnight Monday - Tuesday (up to 40mm!) but only around 2mm in the area of the festival.

After that, all signs are pointing to a completely dry and warm festival.

Who would have thought we'd be in this position the week before last? Quite a remarkable turn around. In all the years I've been going I've never seen the weather run up to be so mental! And then eventually turn out well!!
