Brownie30
Can't divulge my sources but just been sent this from INSIDE Worthy Farm itself. Bit concerning considering the picture is taken on slightly higher ground, but with a bit of sun I'm sure the whole place will dry out. If not at least the Goan Fish Curry stand will be well stocked. Same with the Headliners thread that year, seems we need a fallow year to keep us on our toes.

So I don't think we're in for 2017 weather (if anyone wasn't sure already). Except that the warm weather is being predicted to START next week, not this. Magma
At least with the hot/humid/stormy option we get to sit at the top of the hill watching storms come in (and hopefully miss us) on Wednesday and Thursday. Love a bit of weather watching from the flag field!

As soon as it stops raining the ground will dry out and your feet will be BAKING in "feels like 29"!
Hotchilidog
The guy literally said he didn't know what was going to happen. Hilarious! So this thread is, to quote Liam Gallagher, "As you were". It will either be miserable or crazy hot. All to play for still. I'll be packing for both scenarios. Both likely scenarios involve mud and wet weather which should make the task of packing for both pretty simple. At this stage I'm praying for 2011 with a massive turn of high pressure and sunshine at the weekend. That's all I've got at this stage. deebeedoobee
It’s quite nice and warm out in Pilton at the moment. Might even get this load of washing dry by tonight.

Scenario two (the Spanish plume!) he said their "MAY" be the possibility of storms, he didn't say it with any certainty, simply because they still don't know what is happening with either front. My gut feeling says a mixed bag, mostly dry with the odd shower thrown in. It's more akin to something like 2015 (which had some mud but not loads) rather than 2016 which was very sticky indeed. giantkatestacks
I don't like the muddy AND hot scenario because then I have to work in wellies and get heat rash all over my legs. Anyone know how to stop that?

I think we ended up 13 hours or so from Manchester, managed to get the tent up just before it got dark. Sounds like we had a better time than you though, why didn't the bus driver let you off?! People were on and off ours, pretty useful as I smoke. There was a church selling refreshments outside and all sorts, a group got off to buy a pint at a pub at one point. They thought they'd lost 2 of them and they turned up 20 minutes later, it was a solid warm up. that said the driver on the way back was a dick so guess its luck of the draw with that stuff. What time did you set off? We left at midnight on Wednesday & were pitched up by 8:
