remember Sundrive hire...?

Back in 2011, there was a topic here about a motorhome hire company called Sundrive.

If you can be bothered (it's 27 pages), the topic is a very amusing read.

Anyway, another topic on here had me revisit that thread and do some googling, via which i've discovered that in 2015 the guy behind sundrive (Gary McFadden) and some other people were jailed for between 18 months and 4 years for a similar fraud to what they were trying to do with Sundrive. Sundrive was also referenced in the case they were jailed for.

While Sundrive always looked and felt like a scam I've not known till now that it was. Thank you to everyone back then who helped expose them and stopped them ruining people's Glastonbury.
