stuartbert two hats
I like the way Michael is described as Emily's father first, founder of the festival second!

CaledonianGonzo
The expanded White Album reissue is a snip at a mere 90 sheets ?
mph
I got a triple vinyl a couple of years ago off eBay I think, bureau supply was the company. Splatter coloured vinyl and excellent sound. They had loads of Bowie bootlegs, thought sneakily done over a few years by someone with access to the mixing desk. I'm looking forward to the dvd, greatest thing I've seen in glastonbury, praying for tickets again

I'd be over the moon at this. In my wildest dreams they'd put it on the pyramid on the Thursday night. I was at the festival in 2000 and didn't see Bowie because I was young and stupid - that would be the closest I could come to making up for it. Purple aki squat
Thanks for sharing this. Christmas sorted. Great night it was and if I remember right he even told a crap joke like his persona on Stella street. Never seen a crowd that size since, feel quite emotional to be honest. Great performance
Upside down frowner
I was 14 that year, didn’t know much about Bowie other than my family loved him. My uncle’s favourite performer and the only thing he ever wanted to see at Glastonbury. I watched it without knowing how big of an occasion it was, then we left the site that evening. Good memories ☺️

stuartbert two hats
I still remember going crazy to the opening notes of Hallo Spaceboy to the nonplussed silence of the nearby crowd. I'll never forgive Neil Tennant for making people think that was a shit song. The live and album version was excellent.
