God that sounds horrible, please be wrong. I want another day like The Cure's last year

You’ll have what you’re given.

I thought it was two days left?6 days in total. So far we have Celine, Bob/Neil, Florence, and Robbie.

Yes it should be two days, 6&7 July the Saturday and Sunday. Although those names just mentioned Barbara and Lionel have put me off.

I think the shows so far at Twick are just Metallica and Muse. Can’t see The Who adding an extra date to Wembley with those prices. That can’t have sold out surely. I guess Madonna maybe next year here with her first leg in the US

Not gonna lie - I would've thought Mumfords would've been likelier for this than APE.

they’re much more with the demographic of bst, but played too recently i guess

Didn't know they'd been there recently but a quick Google said 2016 was their last trip there... yeah I can see that.

I was also at Cure last year and it was an amazing day.  Arrived in London about 2:00 pm and it was baking.  Thankfully was staying at Royal Lancaster next to Hyde Park and the air con was on full throttle.  Watched the football and after England won (World Cup game) whole of London was like a massive party and vibe in Hyde Park was electric.

Was all too much for Robert Smith at start of the gig (it was still about 80 degrees) and said he would have to chat to the crowd once the sun went down.

Heading to Glasgow this year, as sadly cannot see them doing London again this summer.

Yeah it was a great day, one of my highlights of the year. Football and London Pride had people in a good mood, and the lineup was fantastic. I went with my dad and even he said it was one of the best weekends he's had in years.

I'm seeing them in Glasgow too, so maybe I'll see you there. Still need to book travel and accommodation though 😬

Yep a great weekend.  Thankfully my sister lives in Glasgow so I have free accommodation this time 👍

Have they ever left it this late for announcements? Pretty sure this time last year all the headliners had been announces

I think the last time they'd not announced this late they talked The Killers into doing their only show of the year.

So i'm guessing that's what happening this time too - not their only show of the year, but the killers.

Massive Attack and Arcade Fire later than this. Even the Rolling Stones when they played the first year, although obviously the first year it wasn’t established and people didn’t expect it earlier.

Only show of the year? Thought they did a bunch in 2017.

Hope that's not true though. 3 of the headliners being repeats would be incredibly lame

Stevie wonder, Carole king, the strokes and massive attack were mid March announcements. Black Sabbath was late March. The libertines, the rolling stones and tom jones was april. arcade fire, jls, Elton john, Lionel ritchie were may announcement.

Barbara Streisand for July 7th Tix on sale March 14th

The Sun 🙄

Barbara and Celine in the same year. How disappointing.

Is this the last act to be announced?

nope, there's still saturday 6th.

I'm going for Bryan Adams, as the saddest sack to put alongside Celine and Barbra.

Anyone surprised by this hasn’t been paying attention the last few years.
