Alex DeLarge
Hi guys, I've been away from the forums for a little while and have just been reading over a few threads to see what I've missed out on. A few comments about people having prior commitments, the festivals changing nature among other things got me thinking, is there any one decision that would make you stop going to Glastonbury? Is there anything that would make the festival just not the same that you might feasibly see happening? Is there anything that would make you permanently just give up altogether on it? Stone_Love
I might have to miss 2019. A first since 2004. My beautiful daughters first birthday will be 28th June 2019. My partner said it's too soon to be taking her!

Crazyfool01
removal of being able to take alcohol in would be a large influencing factor if that were to change there was talk of restricting it for a nano second a few years back
oneeye
Introducing hidden extra costs e.g. festival programme, lock ups, water plus an alcohol restriction. Just makes you realise what a great festival it remains in comparison to most others; sets it apart. The headliners have always been secondary / don't give a toss. BlueDaze
a bit like a thread on Questions.... if they reduced the size of the CV fields to the extent that they made the pitch allocation as small as some other festivals and said they werent opening CV until wednesday, that would do it for me... mashedonmud
Its impact on the environment is my main concern, hasn't stopped me going yet but I do shed a tear when looking at the carnage that's left behind. Glastonbury does it's best but not convinced it will ever conquer this issue completely. Have done a few smaller festivals this year and loving the lower impact on environment, people just respecting their surroundings. I accept that a field filled with less than five thousand is much more manageable than Glastonbury's vast amount of attendees. But why cant everybody take their shit home?

Hugh Jass
I think if they moved from Worthy Farm I’d reconsider going. The Farm is the heart and soul of the place.

Radi0Head
Only pay for one festival a year, at the moment it's Glastonbury but Boomtown will soon surpass. Inevitably I'll still go to Glastonbury, I just won't pay for it.

H.M.V
Sponsorship (looking at you fucking Heinekin tents) Alcohol Restrictions (looking at you fucking Heinekin tents) VIP Tickets (Yes, we know hospitality passes exists but you know what I mean) Been thinking for a bit but that's it I think. Only other thing would be if it became the next V but that's ridiculous.
H.M.V
Didn't even consider a move of site. But yeah, that's a biggie. The location is so important that many of us visit other times of the year to see the land.

phillyfaddle
Possibly too if the Eavii relinquish ownership. I see James Benamor (loan shark, former petty criminal) has just forced Bestival Group into administration. Shame.
