rawaudioinput 155 Report post Posted September 9, 2018 Heard some murmurs about possible headliners and it looks like the festival is only going to be getting bigger; if what I've been told turns out to be true they could really be stepping on the toes of RnL next year

rawaudioinput 155 Report post Posted September 9, 2018 (edited) Pretty decent; the sort of bands I've paid to see in the past but probably wouldn't anymore, probably owing to the fact that I've already seen them 10+ times Edited September 9, 2018 by rawaudioinput

Was expecting Bloc Party to do this but that combined with your signature rules it out, as a headliner at least. edit: It's not Royal Blood is it? I know you were very big on them back in the day, and that would be huge and potentially snaring a few from R+L. I think he'd watch Biffy again, personally. But nah, I don't suspect he'll tell us but if it's in the same ballpark as those two names then it should be an interesting one. Makes more sense for Biffy at this point but I think they might do Victorious or something else mid-way instead of going straight to doing Truck.

Yeah definitely seems like the kinda thing Catfish would do. Headlined it in 2016 so probably long enough for them to get away with it again.

I’m gunna keep an eye on it and may go (line up dependant). Last went in 17’ and it was a mud bath; but good vibe none the less. 2nd the post above - Don’t see why they couldn’t return next year. Ideally with some new tunes to go with it!

They've been touring heavily for the last 2 summers and basically done every festival in the country that would have them. Maybe Reading and thats it, I can't see them doing much and a break would make sense as they are probably starting to sell slower with the huge amount of shows they are doing. Chaarlie 27 Report post Posted October 18, 2018 Would BMTH do this? If they're not in demand from Reading and Download I can't see many other UK festivals that would take them.

Sounds like they're doing a London outdoor show instead of headlining either of those two.
