they will announce the last headliner in the next at the start of March I think just to boost ticket sales and then announce the rest of the line-up mid march which stages

Wonder if the last headliner for this is doing both this and Victorious, cus weird they've both held back a headliner. Victorious has never done that before at least.

Hmm I can see them going for a DJ act as they usually do, perhaps chase and status again or prodigy or someone similar.

Although there are a couple of bands touring that it could possibly be which I would much prefer..

Bloc Party, Noel Gallaghers HFB, two door cinema club, the wombats, courteeners?

- Two Door Cinema Club 6/10 

- The Prodigy 7/10 

- The Strokes 4/10 

- Vampire Weekend 5/10

- Bombay Bicycle club 7/10 (for subbing)

- The Wombats 8/10 (For subbing) 

- Calvin Harris 7/10 

- Chase & Status 6/10 

Dunno anyone else likely to contend really 

it would be a shame if they had anyone who has headlined before though love to see The Prodigy or Vampire Weekend or that stage

I can't see Chase & Status headlining now, possibly sub but I think their stock market as rapidly decreased in the last couple of years and the new album did absolutely nothing.

Big for boardmasters though that's a very good line up but I don't think 21 pilots really match the atmosphere of boardmasters

Hi all,

I'm after a bit of info on Boardmasters. Line-up looks great and it seems reasonably priced but I know sod all about the festival. Is it jam-packed full of teenagers or is there a range of ages? I'll be 28 by the time it rolls around and I'd hate to drive down from Sheffield to find I'm the oldest fucker there.

Man i'm thinking about like dates and stuff like last year the dates mid-February  revealed a full poster at the moment we've got around half.

i imagine we have all of our different stage headliners at the moment so i imagine the biggest name we’ll get is possibly a sub for Foals day unless Jorja Smith is big enough to fill that role?

Franz Ferdinand, Razorlight, Plan B  are all on the main stage so we only have The Wombats headlining LOS at the moment which is pretty huge to be honest every other stage has it's headliners Jorja Smith I believe is big enough to sub that stage. Circa Waves For LOS headliner and Metronomy possibly.

Well I mean they need another Big name for headlining LOS stage so I agree Tom and Johnny are good shouts Im thinking Rex Orange County Might turn up, thinking about how this festival is growing they could have Booked The Streets we can only hope so thinking 

3rd Wave = The Streets // Rex Orange County // Johnny Marr // Gang Of Youths // Two Feet // 

Like those are my guesses for top acts still to come?

Loyal Carner is a great shout he was brilliant in 2017 probably one of the stand out acts him and Rex Orange would be a great mix
