It’s a shame there’s nothing “international” on the first few hours and then there’s tons of clashes, but suppose it could be worse

Agree on the first point but I need to pace myself if I'm going to make it though to 4am.

I've seen KKB and JB and didn't think they were anything special. KKB are fun I suppose and the new tracks are better musically.

The Voidz / Modeslektor clash on the first night is veeery unpleasant... for me at least.
Thom Yorke is just before Modeselektor. Do you think there's a chance for him appearing on their stage?

The consensus doesn't seem to be that Modeselektor on this tour at least is that good. A lot of people left their Primavera set.

Can anyone help with finding some quality in amongst the early names?

The lineup on the whole is lacking til about 9 or 10pm every day for me, but once things kick off it's pretty great. I'll have to check out some more of the early stuff. I don't mind Weezer, but I'm glad they're not on last. Vince Staples into Hot Chip is an incredible last night; two of my most anticipated sets along with The Strokes, The Voidz, and Idles. 

Clashwise, I've mostly got away with it. Suede v Princess Nokia is the only genuine annoyance but will go for the former. Missing Shame is also a bit of a shame. I went off Slaves as quickly as I got into them a few years ago (was bafflingly obsessed with them in the summer of 2015), so I don't wanna see them, but their slot being at the same time as Liam Gallagher's seems a bit bizarre.

Unless you're a big TGTBTQ fan, I'd recommend giving them a miss if there's something else you like on. I love Blur and Gorillaz, wasn't massively familiar with this project but got offered a free ticket to see them in April and I thought it was very dull tbh. Boy Azooga was great fun last summer at Green Man, so I'm gonna see them or KKB depending on whether I manage to catch Boy Azooga at Glasto.

It's a shame there's barely anything to watch when the sun is out (maybe one act a day) but once the sun goes down it's an exceptional lineup.

Guess will use the earlier time to go into town a bit more than planned.

Mourn are a pretty good band. They’re Spanish so I see why you might glide over their name on the lineup but I’ve listened to them for a few years and would recommend if you’re into post-punk/garage rock sorta stuff.

Excellent tip, thanks. Also now enjoying Las Ligas Minores, an Argentinian band who have a singer with a bit of a weak voice but otherwise make a great sound.

Im spanish so I know a bit about the national bands playing before the sun goes down. Here we go:

Derby Motoreta Burrito Kachimba> Psicodelia mixed with spanish roots. Quite strong style. Good live. 

Delaporte> Electronic music with a live singer. Check their live. I think that's a good dance option.

Biig Piig> She is not spanish, I'm sure you know her... She is great. Is impressive that she's only 20. 

Vetusta Morla> Super famous in the spanish indie scene. I don´t like them very much. But check them out... Maybe is your style.

Antifan> He used to be in the same rap colective as C. Tangana, they recently relased a song together, I don't like his style. Indie, punk, trap...  All mixed. Quite strange. 

Cecilio G> A controversial and famous artist in Spain. One of the most important trappers of the scene.

Cupido> Pimp Flaco used to be a trapper but a year ago he created -Cupido- a Bedroom Pop band. They have some hits. I will be in the concert. 

Nathy Peluso> Latinoamerican influences, hip hop, jazz... She's great and they told me her direct is amazing. 

Pony Bravo> If you don't like Hot Chip go to their concert. They are really good at live. Psicodelia, garage, spanish roots...

Hello, my friends have not been able to attend the festival so have given me and my girlfriend their tickets, free of charge they just want us to make them dinner! However the tickets will have their names on it, will this be a problem? will we be turned away and have to buy the tickets again, can the names on the tickets be changed ?

Have not read anywhere that it is personal tickets. Tickets in general usually have name printed on them and never check, and even in the cases were they claim to identify tickets with id (radiohead did that on the 2017 tour), at the venue they didnt bother. They just scan it and let you through.

on another note, who was this Female act that didnt have any shows lined up 2019 that supposedly was going to play at BBK?

will there be any more surprise acts announced?

any suggestions what to do on wednesday evening? Cant go the camp since we are airbnb-ing in the city.
