Basoa reaches its fourth edition reaffirming its commitment to a very specific way of understanding the experience of electronic music dancing. An idea in which having a unique environment is more important than accumulating scenarios, where a well-chosen programming counts more than the length of the poster and in which a sound system taken care of down to the smallest detail passes over empty pyrotechnics. After all, who needs to simulate magic when you have the spell of the forest?

In an era defined by excess stimuli, disconnecting is a privilege. That is why in Basoa everything is designed so that the forest becomes a temple of evasion where you can put your mobile phone aside and immerse yourself in the moment. Dance music has always been a mechanism of liberation and it can also be a mechanism of digital interference. In addition, for many videos that we record, the most powerful tool to relive sensations will always be our memories.

In 2019, Basoa's programming once again combines world-class names, budding stars and young emerging talents. A list of artists in which the maestro Laurent Garnier stand out, a living history of techno and house in Europe that has been making the planet dance for 35 years; John Talabot, tireless music tracker, his versatility allows him to weave sessions that are stylistic trips without ever losing an identity that is already unmistakable, and who, after his unforgettable closure of Basoa last year, returns to close this space again; Honey Dijon, born in Chicago, the mecca of house, dominates this genre bringing a sound always energetic, bold and desacomplejado; Todd Terje dj set, whom we discovered for his already legendary edits, with which he improved classic albums that seemed insurmountable, who then started producing his own tracks and gave us hymns like 'Ragysh' or the already immortal 'Inspector Norse'; Midland, whose talent has become increasingly chameleonic and has led him to grow in recent times to the point of being on the cover of specialized media such as Mixmag, and Bicep dj set, who, without having achieved a massive status, prove to be a duo able to follow the path that in the 90 marked Orbital, Prodigy or The Chemical Brothers. They are joined by the selectors Alicia Carrera, Álvaro Cabana, Courtesy, DJ Dustin, Ketiov, DJ Seinfeld, Midland, Moxie, Octo Octa and Tama Sumo that ensure so many moments of collective madness as unexpected discoveries. All of them will offer extended sessions, something unusual in festivals,

Basoa account in this edition with the collaboration of Red Bull and Absolut. In addition to the selection of artists and the surround sound of the space, the attention to detail of the setting in Basoa is added, which has been internationally recognized with the 'Innovation in scenography' award of the 'Festival of the Future' awards. And is that if something Basoa pursues is to run away from the mechanical to make it exceptional.

With the announcement of the complete programming of Basoa, a total of 15 outstanding names of electronic music are added to the variety of styles of the Bilbao BBK Live poster, which will be held on July 11, 12 and 13 in Kobetamendi.

A lot of people are reporting it took 3 hours to get from town to the camping on the first day in particular.

eg "We waited 1.5-2 hours in a queue in the city for a bus to the site. The bus then drove for 10 mins, dropping us halfway to the site. We walked 25 minutes, to wait 40 mins -1 hour for a second bus to the camping"

3 hours does not sound like my idea of fun. Frankly even though it's a mountain I'd rather walk...

So what's the best way of getting to the camping without taking the official bus, which obviously is lacking?

Does anyone know if you can get a taxi from San Mames? Will it take you to the camping or near the camping?

How long have they waited to announce after a teaser in the past?

Do we think next week?

I was told next week , but could be 11/12am today. They used to tease an hour or two before.  We’ll know soon enough.
