Hi, I was just wondering how much alcohol you are able to take into the camp site? I read that it says enough for one person but people will drink different amounts?

Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to have mine confiscated for having what they deem too much

As much as you want, as long as it isn't in glass bottles.

I've got 2 cases of Amstel, 1 case of cider and a bottle of bourbon.

She has a case of cider, a litre of vodka and a litre of gin.

It all depends how much you drink, and if you want to spend money in the bars.

For me, 10 cans of beer a day, plus some bourbon and a few pints in the arena will suit be perfectly!

Thanks, I wasn't taking any spirits but I have 38 cans think I will be okay with that?

It depends how much you drink mate,

For me, I can't go a full day on beer and cider - towards the evening I'll move onto Bourbon.

But 38 cans for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is almost 13 cans a day - I'm sure you'll be fine with that!

To be honest I leave about half my beers in the car and get them on Saturday morning.

Is this fine do when staying in general camping? Do you have to go back through security etc, how long would a trip take roughly?

Thanks :)

15 maybe 20 minute leasurely stroll depending on how far away you get parked and how close you camp.

Remember in 2014, me & my mate went in to general entrance (since moved to a camper van as I'm old!!) but got questioned about the amount of cans we had (can't think how many it was but maybe three slabs of cider.). Argued our point and that was ok.

Not heard of much bother on the gates since. I guess of you're wheeling a trolly with 120 cans through on your own, they may ask a question but we're not talking that.
