True... Nevertheless they headline on the other side of the ocean. And proved they had the level for it. So it's surprising indeed but not absurd! Vampire Weekend headlining NOS Alive would be a little bit more absurd.

Imagine that the last headliner is the Rolling Stones and the reason for the delay in announcing was Mick Jaggers surgery....

Mmm they postponed /cancelled the tour a few weeks ago.

There must be some issues with some other artist before imo.

I think the time has come to swap NOS tickets for Mad Cool, I can't justify paying that much money for what NOS are offering on that Friday. I wouldn't mind if it was all festivals but every other festival in Iberia has announced pretty much its full lineup by now, and as they are basically all on the same weekend then I think its time to change over!

Mad Cool can happily have the lot of them and I wouldn’t be too fussed if not one of them turn up to Nos. A whole lot of nothingness in my eyes. I’d probably catch Johnny Marr and Parquet Courts if they were announced but they’d be nothing to get excited about. Let’s eat Grandma too but that’s not going to happen with them been at Primavera Porto.

Be extremely disappointed with Prophets of Rage for the Friday too! That would be a truly shocking headliner and really scraping the barrel. Especially when they could have easily just snagged Florence. Wouldn’t be too bothered if they rocked up on the Thursday. Still wouldn’t watch them but with The Cure and Weezer already there it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

I saw POR at Download and Werchter 2 years ago. Both times I loved them
