Yeah, I reckon Dianna must be favourite, I'll have to see if I can find Lionel's comments.

You'll hate me for telling you this now but the Emily bit is actually on the link in the OP. :P

So it is! Without having to find the bit too. I'm such an amateur :D

Talks sometimes seem to go on for a number of years.  The fact that talks happened at all still probably mark her out as the front runner.

on the basis that in recent years I've heard headliner stuff from *very* solid sources 18 months before the act has headlined (and mistook it for that year and not the next year), I reckon you're probably right.

I mentioned her in the other thread, but you'd have to reckon that Carole King is also in the mix based on these criteria.

I don't think she's the most likely candidate compared to, say, Cher....but headlining Hyde Park has to count for something.

Cher would be great, but I think Diana is a more likely option.

Excited for almost another 12 months of guessing what is in store!!

Cher's probably got the least consistent setlist of the lot.  I've softened to Believe over the years (a bit), but even adding in the stuff with Sonny and the fucking Shoop Shoop Song there's still gonna be some dead air.  When was the last time you heard even something like I Found Someone?

Turn Back Time, Shoop Shoop, Believe, I've Got You Babe, Dead Ringer for Love (minus the Loaf I fear), Gypsies Tramps & Thieves...

That's all I've got, that's probably still about half a set's worth.

Yup.....but that's kind of it, right...more or less?  Unless she actually does Half-Breed or her cover of Walking In Memphis.
