About 15 years ago I interviewed Chris Frantz of Talking Heads / Tom Tom Club fame. He told me that he'd earned more from Carey sampling Tom Tom Club than he had done for the whole of the rest of his career.

Also, fits in worryingly well with what the Twitter lady said. However, if the diva reports are true, she'd probably try and make Glastonbury move its date rather than go through the ball ache of coming back to the UK after the Dam. So fingers crossed for that.

In fairness to Mariah, she is in the top 10 of all time artists in terms of album sales. Shes sold more albums than The Stones, Sinatra, U2, Queen, 13 top 10 UK albums, 24 top 10 singles...

The Park's pulled a couple of big headliners out the bag for sure but I still think it's fairly balanced over the weekend. Surely she's comparable with the likes of Warpaint?
