Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are playing Stockport County's ground the week before Glastonbury.

I absolutely loved them in 2016. Id always been a Beautiful South fan, but never got around to seeing them.

Hopefully they make a return to the Farm next year. The Park would be more suited then the other stage though

Would love to see them back. Glastonbury regulars but theyve such a wide appeal and would attract a decent crowd.

I'm sure last night The Prodigy did that fest Glasto was looking likely and didn't happen. With how its laid out I'd presume The Prodigy were defo Friday or Saturday meaning it probably is Sunday or nothing...them vs Macca would be harsh!

I’m sure Macca is a very nice man but if it was a choice between him and The Prodigy I’m afraid the Prodge win hands down.

I would be stuck, The Prodigy at Glastonbury and Macca probably last time ever. Prodigy did look decent on their arena tour though.

Yeah, I saw them in Cardiff and they were the on top form.

The decision is easier for me as I’m not a big Macca fan.I know he’s a legend and all that but I’ve never been one to watch an act ‘just so I can say I’ve seen them’

Hehe, there’s not really much to call between the Prodigy and Macca is there? Both heritage acts, both decades past their best. I’m struggling to see the Prodigy as anything approaching contemporary or relevant. It’s coming to something when Hot Chip, with a mere 6 albums under their belt, are the bright young things.

Prodigy are still on top form and the setlist is heavy on their last three albums so I think that ‘heritage band’ is a bit harsh personally.

Quite a big announcement from Down the Rabbit Hole which takes place the week after Glastonbury. The Roots would be a good booking.

Would be happy to get Editors, Foals, Vampire Weekend and Frank Carter from that lot. I'd expect all of those apart from Foals.

I spot Low in there. V pleased about the possibilities of them being on the farm.

With you on this one. My husband went on the Sunday and said it was awesome but I had a big presentation at work and had to miss out ???

Not to rub it in but yeah it was awesome. They're my other half's absolute favourite, so I'd love them to be there as we've never seen them at Glastonbury. Missed 2016 :( Would it be too soon for a return...?

Yes they are my other half’s favourites too. He was soooo annoyed we missed 2016. He’d been wishing them to appear since he started going in 2009, and 2016 was the year we decided to get married (on 9 July) so we just couldn’t go (money, time etc) and lo and behold that when they decided to turn up, oops!!

I don’t actually think in my heart of hearts that they’ll be there next year BUT you never know!

Not a euphemism.

Haha! Yes if they’re there then I’m deffo up for meeting up and making it a big one. I mean, it’s not out of the question that they’ll be there - they have been releasing some new stuff so here’s to hoping ????
