Steve Hillage has just announced a few dates in June playing music from his 70s albums. He's always at Glastonbury with System 7 anyway, so maybe he'll do a band show.

Dunno if they’re a bit too loud for that. Their current incarnation has three drummers at the front of the stage; they made a right racket when I saw them.

Just had a look at their recent set list, it’s actually very good,  nice Glastonbury gap in their tour schedule.

Glasto doesn’t really Know what to do with old prog acts does it? Hence Yes being halfway down the bill on Jazz World that time.

Why wouldn’t she close it? 

She seems to be ruled out regardless, but the tour is well-timed for her to play Sunday and The Cure are the most sensible Pyramid headliner to put her up against too.

Saw them, again, in Manchester recently. You’d think 3 drummers was indulgent in the extreme, but it works. They’ve never been better. I just can’t see them being at Glastonbury however, as mentioned already, there’s no stage where they would really fit (Although no more out of place than Yes on the Other stage in 2003).

KC could easily play highish on The Park.  Although less likely, there's also precedent for rhythmically out-there alt-fusion noise on the Holts. Even recently with the likes of Sun Ra Arkestra and Anna Meredith

Cher is touring , she finishes America in April and starts in Europe in September

That fest is thurs, fri & Saturday. No reason why the prodigy for example couldnt do that on Thursday & Glastonbury on Sunday.
