Yeah he's been mentioned 20+ times across 14 pages. :D Playing the south coast the Sunday before makes it a lot less likely than it would've been, but it still wouldn't be too surprising a booking.

? Silly me. He was great at Bestival but hope it's not him

Surely this month we will get some sort of update. there's like 160 days or something like that and we have nothing to go off. No tickets on sale, no names, nothing. I feel tickets will be back on sale this month and if not then there's surely something not right.

Yes, surely tickets must go on sale this month, will be 2 months since the early birds finished in a few days

They have got to be struggling otherwise they’d have announced a long time ago.

My expectation level is now set to low. That way I shan’t be disappointed and may even be pleasantly surprised....

It's only in recent years big festivals have been announcing pre Xmas. With it being a Live Nation event now they won't want it to be competing against their own announcements for other events.

Plus PR agencies are only just getting back to work so will just be putting together the press blurb and marketing. They may well of struggled for acts but it's not the only reason for announcements post Xmas. Can't see LN struggling for acts though, they'll book the best that's available for them within the festival budget

Good post, nice and positive.

It is still over 6 months away so I don't think we need to panic.

Good points, yet it still remains that the only big festival to yet announce is IOW and they surely would have before if there wasn’t an issue. LN don’t not sell tickets for two months for nothing, ‘Aiming’ to announce more at the end of January shows that, if all was ok they could easily have done it next week. LNs big draws are playing stadiums in London, maybe they just haven’t sold out yet and we’ll get one or two of them
