NO REGRETS

Just answered your own point there Russy

Had no knowledge of Cave. Listened to Pumpkins throughout teen years, and they're responsible for my favourite album of all time. Regardless of it being Corgan + musicians the euphoria from hearing some of those songs live for the first time means Cave can, could and did go whistle ;)

I actually saw a fair chunk of Pumpkins after hotfooting it round post Cave. Wouldn't have missed that Cave gig for the world though - still up there for me and a real statement of intent for the performances to come.

Ah I forgot it was that way round. So Calgon probs missed stagger lee onwards then. More bearable than missing the first half I guess.

I've watched the neil young gig on youtube. The crowd was full of chin stroking dullards. Atmosphere was dead as a dodo.

Meanwhile doves in the tent was going OFF.

My point was more on the no regrets bit. I loved that pumpkins set, however good Cave may have been.

Having said that on the Friday I was learning my first Glastonbury lesson the hard way by watching Bloc Party. So maybe a few regrets

It would be like picking gorillaz over flaming lips in 2010: a catastrophic error.

I'm not being made to feel bad about watching a great set; not by you, or even by somebody who hasn't "accidentally" watched Jessie J multiple times.
