I get that also. LFC have Chelsea 2nd last game of the season. Utd finally remembering how footie is played...

Not going by the first half last night (couldn't be bothered with the 2nd, there was fuck all worth watching). I tuned in expecting to see a new improved Man Utd, but it wasn't there. The Nal
Massive game tonight regardless. 10 points is a huge gap with 17 games left. Decent away performance from Utd last night. Newcastle are terrible mind you. The only thing propping them up is Bentitezs ability to organise.

Theyve just got no quality upfront whatsoever. Lucky to have ten men on the pitch however. The Lukaku goal was a huge moment in the game. kaosmark2
Until we spend £15m+ on a striker we're going to be toothless. And surprise surprise, the yearly takeover talk around November/December has dissipated except as an excuse for c**tface to not spend money. Again. zahidf
Interesting article which seems to say Liverpool has a much better chance of winning the title than city at the moment I agree with the main thrust of the article: if city don't get back up good enough for Fernandinho (and Silva to a lesser extent) they'll drop more points over the season if they have to rely on them https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/sorry-city-the-premier-league-title-is-liverpools-to-lose/ Edited January 3, 2019 by zahidf

Supporter groups have done an open letter to Ashley urging him to spend and not use the takeover talk as a way to avoid tranfer market. Too late lads, you f*cked it up by calling off the protest. We signed Joselu for 5 and Rondon on loan. In fact, Ashley hasn't spent 15m on a single player in his 12 years at the club.

ThomThomDrum
City were the better team, slightly... The finishes for both their goals were utterly top notch. The Pool could of got a draw with little arguments but the result makes it all very interesting going into the second half of the season. Just hope Liverpool don’t let the result get to them... Brighton, Palace, Leicester next... 9 points required, but far from guaranteed
HeyPorter
It was a game though, draw would’ve sat right but hats off to city.
Wooderson
City wanted it more. And - who’d have thought it - their fans gave a shit and made an occasion of it. Kompany lucky that the ref is local.
Gnomicide
Don't agree they wanted it more, just a better team at the end of the day. 3 goal line clearances was a bit of a bugger, we could easily have come out of there with a draw with a bit of luck. A month ago I thought we'd have to win this game to be anywhere near to hanging onto City's coat tails, to be able to lose it and still be 4 points clear and made up that goal difference is astonishing. Onwards!
Gnomicide
Can't wait to see what team he puts out in the FA Cup. Could be a completely different 11.
