Sam would have brought in players who were more prepared and quicker to adapt, but would have a lower ceiling. For teams like West Ham who aren't challenging for trophies I would rather gamble on some players who may take some time, but have a higher ceiling when they click.

I think the best thing that can happen for rival fans this weekend is a United win. Ease a bit of the pressure before a few more bad results in the league and CL.

I hope he stays until the end of the season but that is looking unlikely.
