It will probably be cheaper to buy a tent when you get to the UK rather than bring a tent with you.

Yea, we were actually talking about either buying a tent in england or buying one of the tents which is already set up at the festival. But is that a thing people do?

we are arriving on thursday.

Well you could but you can only do that with luxury camping options, and those are wildly expensive.

You can quite easily find camping equipment if you are in Leeds. In summer they will likely be stocked by the big supermarkets like Asda and Tesco, but also there will be a large selection at places like Halfords and Go Outdoors.

Okay thanks. But would you recommend staying at the campsite? Where is it most fun? We want to meet other people, but also want to make sure our tent/stuff is safe.

I'm not too sure on that as I haven't been in a while and the campsites keep changing. It is usually the case that the closer you camp to the arena entrance, the more lively it is.

Okay, thanks. Do you know if most people are staying at the campsite or if they buy a tent in one of the luxury camps?

We are btw 24, 27 and 31, if that is relevant.

The vast majority will be in the regular campsites. It’ll be more fun there too, as one of the main reasons people go to luxury camping is that it’s more quiet and relaxed.
