How anyone can get punchy at Glastonbury has always been kind of beyond me. Everyone's generally just so happy to be there. Only ever seen one or two bits of proper angry fighting in a dozenish festivals.

Saying that though, I'm reminded of a at least couple of times I've had to use tactical communication to calm some dickhead down.

Completely naive behaviour from Goldie. Having been backstage at all the main stages, the security simply do not let you in without accreditation. They have only one job and that it is. Yes he was chaperoned in by BBC once and that is how I get it, I get a chaperone to take me to meet the person I’m visiting and then I’m escorted out. Of course I cannot get back in without correct accreditation.  As a long term professional performer he would know all this and to solve the situation you use your phone, contacts, negotiation skills and stay calm and be nice. It’s amazing how many people can get their needs met by being nice and calm.
